Hene Kelly is a well-seasoned veteran of politics, and a vocal leader of demonstrations for Social Security, Medicare for All, and labor and social justice issues.  You know her, the tennis shoe granny with a BULLHORN!

Since the 50s and 60s, she has worked in the Civil Rights Movement in Mississippi, Chicago, and throughout the west.

Hene is a retired SF public school teacher where she taught English, Health Education, and Holocaust Education. She was active in her union (USEF), serving as a building representative and a delegate to the San Francisco Labor Council where she am presently the SFLC Sergeant at Arms. Hene serves on the American Federation of Teachers Retirement Committee and is a vice president of the California Alliance for Retired Americans (CARA) serving as their Legislative Director.

As an Executive Board Member of the CDP, and the elected CDP Region 7 Director, Hene works with Democratic County Committees in San Francisco, San Mateo, and Santa Clara and with their Democratic Clubs.
