Sydney Simpson (March 2024)

San Francisco Democratic County Central Committee AD 17

As a dedicated union nurse, Sydney has seen first hand the impact the pandemic has had on our city. Sydney actively advocates for workers’ rights, affordable housing, and LGBTQ+ prosperity. They serve as a delegate for the San Francisco Labor Council, on the steering committee of the California Working Families Party, and as an executive board member of the Harvey Milk LGBTQ Democratic Club where they co-founded the Trans Caucus. Sydney works tirelessly to support a vision for an inclusive, equitable, and progressive San Francisco. As a parent, Sydney is keenly aware of the challenges SF working families face. Sydney and their wife have called San Francisco home for over a decade. With six years in District 6, Sydney sees our city’s unique challenges daily.
