In November 2019, Supervisor Preston won a special election to finish Mayor Breed’s term on the Board. Now he must run for re-election (for the 2nd time against Vallie Brown) so he can serve his first full 4 year term. Preston was a tenant rights lawyer and is also the author of Proposition I which will create a rent relief fund, a huge need during the pandemic.
