We are excited to announce the dual endorsement of Michael Nguyen and Gary McCoy for District 8 Supervisor!

Michael Nguyen has been an organizer and drag performer alongside LGBTQ+ communities in SF for over 20 years. As a longtime District 8 resident, Nguyen understands the needs of the community. He is fighting for affordability, housing, and accountability in City Hall. His experience as a child of refugees powered his journey to becoming a lawyer, allowing him to best understand the law and how it serves everyday people. 

Gary McCoy brings his lived-in experience as a person in recovery who has navigated homelessness and has depended on the essential social services that serve our communities. As Supervisor, he hopes to guarantee housing, a thriving economy that supports small businesses, and public safety. 

A dual endorsement means that both of these candidates have championed the needs of working-class communities and we know that if either of them are elected to be District 8 Supervisor, they will prioritize and represent our communities in City Hall. We encourage you to vote for either of them as your #1 and #2 choices.
