PROP B: PUBLIC BANK

SF LOCAL BALLOT MEASURE

Our SF tax dollars are currently invested in JP Morgan Chase and for too long, wealthy shareholders have profited off of our investments. Our tax dollars should fund our solutions, not the genocide in Palestine or to make the rich richer. A public bank would provide direct community reinvestment, low-cost loans for affordable housing and small businesses, which would disproportionately support which would disproportionately support

Prop B would raise an existing tax on businesses to create and fund a Public Bank in San Francisco, making this the first city to ever do so.

This measure was put on the ballot by District Supervisors, Chen, Fielder, and Mahmood, as a way to ensure that the money raised by this tax is being invested in our communities.
