PROP E: MODERNIZING CITY CONTRACTING INITIATIVE ACT

NO ON PROP D, E, AND F! Prop D wants to take power away from the people by making it harder to put measures on the ballot, Prop E consolidates the power to sign contracts and vendors into the hands of the City Administrator, and Prop F strengthens the executive branch, allowing the Mayor to hire and fire any department heads or city commissioners. 

Mayor Lurie is continuing his attempt to consolidate power and profit. Mayor Lurie has chosen vendors and given contracts to his friends, like OpenGov, and this measure creates less oversight over these kinds of contract decisions.

Prop E removes the essential checks and balances from our Board of Supervisors and would give the City Administrator exclusive power to set citywide contracting rules, more power to select vendors and enter contracts for services, and increase the City Administrator’s term from 5 years to 10 years. Contracts under $25 million would also no longer have to go through the Board of Supervisors for approval, removing checks and balances on government spending.

Say NO to all of Mayor Lurie’s ballot measures, NO on Prop E!

Propuesta E: Ley de Iniciativa para Modernizar los Contratos Municipales

¡NO a las Propuestas D, E y F! La Propuesta D busca quitarle poder a la gente al dificultar la inclusión de medidas en la boleta electoral, la Propuesta E concentra el poder de firmar contratos y designar proveedores en manos del Administrador de la Ciudad, y la Propuesta F fortalece el poder ejecutivo, permitiendo que el alcalde contrate y despida a cualquier jefe de departamento o comisionado de la ciudad.

El alcalde Lurie continúa su intento para consolidar el poder y las ganancias. El alcalde Lurie ha elegido proveedores y otorgado contratos a sus amigos, como OpenGov, y esta medida reduce la supervisión sobre este tipo de decisiones contractuales.

La Propuesta E elimina los controles y equilibrios esenciales de nuestra Junta de Supervisores y otorgaría al Administrador de la Ciudad el poder exclusivo para establecer las normas de contratación en toda la ciudad, más poder para seleccionar proveedores y celebrar contratos de servicios y aumentaría el período del administrador municipal de 5 a 10 años. Los contratos de menos de 25 millones de dólares ya no tendrían que pasar por la Junta de Supervisores para su aprobación, eliminando así los controles y equilibrios sobre el gasto público.

Panukala E: Batas sa Inisyatiba para sa Modernisasyon ng Kontrata ng Lungsod

Hindi sa Prop D, E, F! Nais ng Prop D na alisin ang kapangyarihan sa mga mamamayan sa pamamagitan ng pagpapahirap na mailagay ang mga panukala sa balota. Pinagsama naman ng Prop E ang kapangyarihang lumagda sa mga kontrata at pumili ng mga vendor sa kamay ng City Administrator. Samantala, pinalalakas ng Prop F ang executive branch, na magbibigay-daan sa Mayor na mag-hire at magtanggal ng sinumang department head o city commissioner. 

Patuloy ang pagtatangka ni Mayor Lurie na pagsama-samahin ang kapangyarihan at kumita. Pinili ni Mayor Lurie ang ilang vendor at ibigay ang mga kontrata sa kanyang mga kaibigan, gaya ng OpenGov, at ang panukalang ito ay magdi desisyon tungkol sa mga kontrata. 

Ang Prop E ay aalisin ang mahahalagang checks and balances mula sa ating Board of Supervisors at magbibigay sa City Administrator ng higit na kapangyarihan magtakda ng mga patakaran sa mga kontrata. E 提案:《市合同现代化倡议法案》

对罗伟市长提出的所有选票提案说“不”，对E提案投反对票！
